I went to Moab to visit Karen and Warren last weekend.

Hood Hunt

Tell all of your friends in Seattle that they should do the Hood Hunts.
I did on in Sunset Hill this weekend, and it was lots of fun, although it is serious work, too.  You get a map and a set of questions, and you have to go to all the checkpoints within 70 minutes and answer the question about what it there.
Note that the questions require reading ability, so I had to take daddy along to help me with that.
Afterwards, we had a milk (me) and latte (daddy) at the Scoop.  They also have ice cream there, but I don't know what that is yet, so I didn't try it.

Glacier/Waterton Parks

We went to Glacier Park.  I have to admit, it was a little cold, and after a couple nights camping, we decided that hotels were not so bad after all.  The hail did not help matters.  I guess the season really does end after Labor Day.
Mommy bought me a bear bell, so I could ring it and pretend it was dinner time.  No bears came to dinner, though.  We retreated to some of the fine lodges to escape the weather.  We went up to Waterton for a day, where they had some nice long hikes (some were over a mile) and a little town in the middle of the park.  Then we went down to Missoula for a day.  I got to ride on the carousel there.  On our way home, we camped at Potholes in Eastern Washington.

At the Beach

I love the beach.  I went to Manzanita, OR, with Mommy for the week.
It's best to keep your face out of the sun, though, to avoid the harmful rays.

Life's a Beach

It's always good to take some time to go to the beach.  I don't have a bucket and shovel yet, so I had to improvise.
